How the process works

Attend an Education Session

Join our clinical team online. The session is educational in nature — you can ask questions and learn about lipoedema and our clinic's approach at your own pace.

Individual telehealth consultation

A private appointment with one of our doctors to discuss your individual circumstances. This is a clinical consultation, not a continuation of the information session.

Clinical assessment and discussion of options

Based on your consultation, your doctor will discuss what, if any, further assessment or management may be appropriate for your situation.

Common Questions

Do I need a diagnosis before attending?
No. This is an information session and a formal diagnosis is not required to attend. Many women who attend are still in the process of understanding their symptoms. Our team will not be providing diagnoses during the session — if you would like a formal clinical assessment, our team can guide you through the appropriate steps after the session.

The Education Session is included as part of your initial consult fee. Our team will confirm the details when you book.

Above is a current suggested common question and answer. the answer is actually that the education session is $93.00 however, this is taken from your initial consult fee meaning when you book your 1-on-1 telehealth you only have to pay $202.00

No referral is needed to become a patient at Lipoedema Surgical Solutions. At your initial consultation, our doctor will ask if there are any treating providers you’d like us to communicate with — so we can help keep your care team informed and on the same page.
 
There is no obligation to take any further steps. If you would like to pursue a formal assessment, our team will guide you through booking an individual telehealth consultation with one of our doctors.
