About: Lymphoedema and Vascular Oedema Clinic A lymphoedema and vascular oedema management service is now available at the Allied Therapy Network clinic based in central Ipswich. Our Lymphoedema Therapists have completed post graduate training in lymphoedema assessment, treatment and management and have experience in treating people with venous oedema. Our services include: • Assessment and education to our clients regarding their condition and self-management strategies • Individualised treatment plans • Compression bandaging • Prescription of compression garments, including via the QLD Government Lymphoedema Compression Garment Scheme. • Trial and prescription of pneumatic compression pumps • Education regarding skin care and manual lymphatic drainage • Surveillance pre and post breast surgery/node dissection
